School Partnership
The One Ball School Partnership Program is designed to help schools increase student participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities.
One Ball is excited to offer its positive soccer program as an introduction to team-based activities, in an age-appropriate format focused on mental health wellbeing, social inclusion and fitness. The focus of the program is on character building, positive affirmations, skill development and building a generation of active, healthy, positive children.

Outcome 1: To increase engagement and active participation in physical education
Outcome 2: To create positive experiences that support the character development of children and young people
Outcome 3: To support students’ development and competency in a variety of motor skills that enhances cognitive function to supplement academic performance
Outcome 4: To support the school community in engaging and educating parents/carers about the positive impact of sports in helping young people feel more connected with their school, aspirations and wider community
One Ball offers a flexible primary school and secondary school programs to meet the individual needs of schools:
4-9 Years Primary Program

Using positive affirmations to narture wellbeing in earily childhood

Through soccer-based drills and activities, children learn to create positive emotions within themselves

Coaches empower players to create positive thoughts and feelings of self-worth, build self-esteem and confidence

Positive affirmations booklet provide players with a powerful and holistic way of building a positive mindset
10-18 Years Secondary Program

Activating character strengths to positively impact young people's engagement, performance and learning

Soccer drills and games are infused with practical lessons on identifying each player's unique character strengths

Coaches provide mentoring to establish strength-based culture on and off the pitch
-
Character strengths booklet and survey provide players with the tools they need to notice and value their strengths to build confidence, respect for self and for others
School Partner provides:
An outdoorfield or indoor court
Support staff to oversee the attendance and dismissal of the participants at the start and end of each session
Feedback and recommendation of the program to the school and families
One Ball provides:
Positive Affirmation cards for the Primary group
Character Strengths booklet and survey for the Secondary group
Coaching by Head Coach and Program Director, Kamal Ibrahim, and his team of qualified coach-mentors
Equipment for the duration of the program including portable goals, balls, cones and bibs
Free participation for school coaches to assist and receive guidance from One Ball coaches

One Ball is a not for profit organisation. All funds goes back into resources to deliver the program in the community. Supporting One Ball means you are giving back to the community and investing in children and young people’s development.
