Today, we are proud to announce a new partnership with One Ball, Victoria’s leading football access charity, founded by ex-professional footballer Kamal Ibrahim to help more people experience the positive impact of football.
Together, we will strive to take football forward, by making football more inclusive, accessible, and enjoyable for all —just the way it should be.
One Ball is more than just an organization. It’s a movement that aims to transform the landscape of football in Australia.
Founded in 2017, One Ball is dedicated to breaking down the barriers that many young players face. With a core belief that football is a vehicle for positive change, One Ball focuses on creating accessible football programs for kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity to play.
Their mission is simple: To foster an environment where everyone, regardless of background, can play, develop, and thrive on the football pitch.
One Ball’s programs provide much more than just skills on the field. They promote personal growth, teamwork, leadership, and the mental resilience that football can cultivate.
Through structured coaching sessions, community engagement, and a strong emphasis on inclusivity, One Ball has grown to become a refreshing driving force for good in Australian football. And it’s this shared belief in football as a means for positive impact that brings Ultra Football and One Ball together.
The story of One Ball
We first met Kamal Ibrahim, One Ball's founder, earlier this year, Kamal spoke to us about playing for positive impact and everything that he and One Ball stands for. His passion, commitment and enthusiasm for play left us blown away.
Coming through at Melbourne Heart and playing locally for many years, Kamal has seen it all from a footballing point of view. He understands that access to the game is often difficult, expensive, and often doesn’t allow players to play with freedom, have fun, and express themselves on the pitch.
Kamal’s vision resonated with us immediately. At Ultra Football, we share a common goal with One Ball: to break down these barriers and let football be a force for good, helping players at all levels access the things they need to succeed.
